Dinner in the Mallard Household

So once you have kids, you work around your kid’s schedule. He determines when and what you should be doing.

Couple nights ago, we barbequed and set up the table for dinner. Just as we were sitting down and ready to devour our dinner, the little munchkin decided it’s meal time for him too. So what do the 2 hungry parents do? None of us were volunteering to feed the munchkin.

So the brilliant Mr. Mallard came up with this idea which bought us some time to quickly finish our dinner before we attend to munchkin’s need.

What a win-win situation. We can all eat at the same time. Gaven stops fussing and we can eat peacefully.
